What’s new

New things your site can do

Newest first. Your editor has the same list under What’s new, with a dot when there’s something you haven’t seen.

  1. Send an invoice with line items

In Payments, turn on Add line items to bill for several things, or hours at a rate, with sales tax, a due date and notes. Your customer gets an invoice page and a PDF.

    How it works
  2. See your leads on a board, and how they’re doing

The Inbox has a Board, with a column for each stage and a card for each lead that you move with its menu, and a Report that shows, for each form and page, how many leads came in, how many you won and lost, how fast you answered and why leads were lost. When you mark a lead Lost you can say why, or skip it.

    How it works
  3. Customers: everyone you do business with, in one place

A new Customers screen lists everyone who wrote to you, booked, ordered or paid, whether or not they joined your email list. Click a person to see what they did, add a note and tags, and open any booking, order or message from their history. Contacts is now called Email list: it’s still only people who agreed to hear from you, and being a customer never adds anyone to it.

    How it works
  4. Zoom in on a photo and choose what shows

Under any photo, choose Zoom and position, then drag the photo and use the slider to come closer, like cropping a profile picture. You can zoom until the photo would start to look blurry, and the preview shows the result right away.

  5. Gift cards and coupons you scan at the till

Issue a gift card for an amount, or a stack of coupons for a flyer or a market stand, each with its own QR code. Scan one on a phone or tablet to take from it. Customers can pay for a booking with a gift card’s code, and a Gift cards section sells them on your site: they pay on Stripe, with no cut, and the card is emailed.

    How it works
  6. Check people in with a QR code

Every confirmed booking, class sign-up and class pack has a QR code on its page. Open Bookings › Check-in, scan it with a phone or tablet, and mark them as here, or use a class from their pack. No phone? Search by name.

    How it works
  7. Restaurant reservations on your own site

A Reservations section lets guests pick how many they are, a day and a time, and gives them a table that’s free for their whole stay. You set up your tables, see tonight’s list and mark guests as seated, with no fee per guest. It’s an add-on of its own, $10 a month.

    How it works
  8. QR codes for your menu and your reviews

Every price list or menu has a QR code to print for tables, the counter or the window, and it always opens the current list. Your review link has one on the Reviews screen. Print a ready-made sign, or download the code.

    How it works
  9. Visitors share your events, products and menu

Events, products and menus have a Share button: the phone’s own share menu on phones, and Facebook, X, Pinterest, WhatsApp, email or a copied link on computers. Add to calendar now offers Google Calendar and Outlook.com too, on every event in a list as well as on its page.

    How it works
  10. Ten more designs: Kiln to Haul

Kiln, Crux, Reel, Cellar, Keyway, Greenhouse, Hem, Hearth, Slurp and Haul join the designs, for pottery studios, climbing gyms, theaters, wineries, locksmiths, garden centers, tailors, inns, noodle bars and movers. Any design can now use a name down the side, a numbered menu or a menu under the hero photo, and more card styles, photo shapes and section edges.

    How it works
  11. Write your own code, or have AI write it

The Embed code section has a “My own code” choice: HTML, CSS and JavaScript boxes for a calculator, quiz or anything else you can build, in your theme’s colors. Describe it and AI writes it for $0.25 from your credits, then changes it as you ask.

    How it works
  12. Ten new designs, and new ways to shape any of them

Flash, Wag, Taproom, Spoke, Brightside, Crayon, Tempo, Crumb, Cipher and Suds join the designs. Every design can now use a side menu, a floating bar, a big-name header, colored tabs or a badge logo, shaped cards and photos, and wavy or zigzag edges between sections. In a headline, wrap words in **double stars** to make them stand out.

    How it works
  13. Embed code from any service

Put a donation form, reviews widget, calculator or other tool from another service on your page: add an Embed code section and paste the code the service gives you. It runs in its own box, so it can’t change the rest of your site.

    How it works
  14. Made to order and files to download

Products can ask customers questions before they buy (a name to engrave, a message for the card), offer more choices and extras like rush delivery, and say how many days they take. Send a proof for the customer to approve, then the finished files to download, all from the order on your Store screen.

    How it works
  15. Maps of every state and country

The shared library has a map of every US state and nearly every country, plain or with a star dropping onto the capital, for an “Areas we serve” or “Where we ship” section. Also new: pictures for page-not-found, coming-soon and thank-you pages, winter and December, and wide scenes for the top of a page. All in your site’s colors.

    How it works
  16. The Business plan

One upgrade for the features that bring customers in and back: bookings, the Ask us chat, newsletters, review and payment requests, and signed forms. $22 a month billed yearly, or $30 month to month. Upgrade a site on its Plan page in your dashboard.

    How it works
  17. Ask us chat

An “Ask us a question” button that answers visitors straight away from your own pages, hours and FAQ list, in their language. What it can’t answer comes to your Inbox, and the questions it couldn’t answer wait for you on the Ask us chat screen, where one click adds your answer to the FAQ list. $7 a month.

    How it works
  18. Class packs

Sell “5 workshops” or “10 classes” at once. Customers buy a pack on your site and use a class each time they book, with just their email. See who holds which pack, and add packs you sell at the counter, in Bookings.

    How it works
  19. Bring in a form you already use

Have a paper, PDF or Word form, like a waiver or a registration? In a Form section, choose “Fill in from a form you have” and AI copies its questions, and the wording people sign, into your form for you to check. Forms can now hold up to 20 questions, with a new “Several choices” answer for tick-all-that-apply.

    How it works
  20. Signed forms and waivers

Have customers sign a waiver, photo release or agreement on your site, with a finger or mouse. You and they each get a PDF copy. Start from the new Activity waiver, Photo release or Waiver for a child page templates, and an appointment or event can ask everyone who books to sign.

    How it works
  21. Request a payment

Ask a customer for a deposit or a payment: they get an email with a Pay button, or you send them the link. They pay by card, straight into your Stripe account. Request one from a message in your Inbox, a booking, or the new Payments screen.

    How it works
  22. Ask customers for reviews

After an appointment, a won quote or a finished order, send the customer a short email asking for a review, with one button to your Google review page. Send them yourself with “Ask for a review”, or let them go out the next morning on their own. You’ll see who clicked.

    How it works
  23. Newsletters from your editor

Write an email to your contacts, or ask AI to draft one from your events and news, see how it looks on a phone, send yourself a test, then send it now or at a time you pick. You’ll see how many people opened it and clicked.

    How it works
  24. Your own contacts list

People who sign up for your news on your site now go to a Contacts list, and customers can tick “Email me news and offers” on your forms, bookings and checkout. Download the list, import one you already have, or send it to Mailchimp.

    How it works
  25. Checks that make your site easy for everyone to use

Before you publish, a new group called Easy for everyone to use points out things that are hard for people using screen readers, like buttons that only say “Click here”, bold lines that should be subheadings, or a menu that’s only a PDF, and says how to fix each one.

    How it works
  26. Stats, and a monthly report by email

The new Stats screen shows your visits, taps on your phone number, directions and booking links, and your messages, bookings and orders, for the last 30 days and month by month. On the 1st of each month we email you last month’s numbers and anything that needs your attention.

    How it works
  27. Follow up on every lead from your inbox

Each message in your Inbox now has a stage (New, Replied, Quoted, Won or Lost), a note only you see, and a follow-up date. We email you the evening before a follow-up is due. You can also reply right from the message: it’s emailed from your business name, and their answer comes to your email.

    How it works
  28. Show your Facebook and Instagram posts

The new Social posts section shows up to 6 posts or reels you pick from your Facebook page or Instagram, with your own caption and cover photo on each until a visitor presses it. Follow us buttons can go underneath, using your Social links.

    How it works
  29. Choose which booking emails you get

Bookings › Settings now lets you turn off the email for each new booking, each event sign-up, or each time a customer cancels or moves. Requests you need to confirm are always emailed, and the Bookings screen still shows everything.

    How it works
  30. A palette generator for your site’s colors

Theme › Colors can now make palettes for you: press Generate (or the space bar) to try new colors on the preview, lock the ones you like, and change any color by picker, code or a lighter or darker shade. Every palette keeps words easy to read, and you can undo, go back to ones you tried, and save up to 8.

    How it works
  31. Search checklists that help you fix things

Each suggestion on a page’s Search & sharing tab now comes with a way to fix it: a title or description written from your page to use with one click, keyword ideas, the page’s photo for sharing, or a button that takes you to the right spot or asks AI to do it. Keywords also count when their words appear in any order.

    How it works
  32. Holiday pictures for every season

The shared library has a new Holidays & seasons category, in your site’s colors: Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Lunar New Year, Ramadan and Eid, New Year, Valentine’s Day, Easter, summer, back to school and more. Many of them move gently.

    How it works
  33. Bookings: appointments and sign-ups on your own site

With the Bookings add-on ($5 a month for your whole team), visitors book on your site: a consultation at an open time, an estimate visit in a morning or afternoon window, or a spot in a class, with a waitlist when it’s full. Deposits and paid spots go to your own Stripe account. Everyone gets an email and a reminder, and visitors can move or cancel their own booking.

    How it works
  34. Animated words: a headline that moves

Add an Animated words section for one bold message that moves when visitors scroll to it. Pick from 30 effects, like a word that’s typed and retyped or flips in on a departures board, words that fly in, drop or light up one by one, letters that decode or come together, circled or highlighted words, a price drop, neon or sticker labels, crossed ribbons, or big lines that slide as visitors scroll.

    How it works
  35. Pop-ups: open a page over the one a visitor is on

Turn on Open as a pop-up in a page’s settings, and any button or link to it opens it in a window, so visitors don’t lose their place. Good for a quote form, a newsletter signup or a coupon. The Pop-up form template is a quick start.

    How it works
  36. Download your site, or move it to WordPress

In your dashboard, Download your site makes one file with your website’s code, words, photos and form messages, plus a file that brings your pages, posts, photos and menu into WordPress in one step. It’s yours any time, and downloading changes nothing.

    How it works
  37. Ask for help, right in the editor

Click Help at the top and ask in your own words. You get the steps, the guide or video that shows it, and a button to the right screen. When you need a person, it writes the message to our team for you, and if your site can’t do something yet, it helps you ask for it.

    How it works
  38. Version history: go back to an earlier version

Every publish saves a version of your site. In Version history, preview an earlier one and restore it with one click. It’s published as a new version, so you can always switch back.

    How it works
  39. Undo for removed sections and deleted pages

Removed a section or deleted a page by mistake? Click Undo. And when you change a page’s web address, every link to it follows, and visitors to the old address are sent to the new one.

    How it works
  40. Your inbox in the dashboard, and a spreadsheet of messages

Messages from your forms are now in your SiteBrite dashboard too, under Inbox. Download (CSV) in either inbox saves them as a spreadsheet for Excel or Google Sheets.

    How it works
  41. Suggested questions for your FAQ list

In Lists › FAQs, Suggest questions reads your site and drafts the questions your customers are likely to ask, answered in your own words. Questions your site doesn’t answer yet ask you for the answer. Nothing is added until you keep it.

    How it works
  42. Check your Spanish before you publish

On the Languages screen, Translate now translates your new and changed text right away, so you can read it in the preview and change any wording first. Publishing still translates anything left on its own.

    How it works
  43. Make a picture with AI

When no photo fits, open Make with AI in the photo picker and describe the picture you want: a photo, an illustration or a painting, in the shape you need. It’s ready in about 20 seconds and added to your photos at web size. Five a month are free, then each one is $0.10 from credits.

    How it works
  44. Edit straight from your site

Once you’ve opened SiteBrite in a browser, your site shows an Edit this page button in the bottom corner there. It opens the editor on the page you were looking at. Your visitors never see it, and the × hides it until you next open the editor.

    How it works
  45. 93 new pictures in the shared library

The shared library in the photo picker now has drawings for cafés, food trucks, bars, bookstores, thrift and smoke shops, crafts, massage, acupuncture, salons, landscaping, painting and more, sorted by kind of business. Like the others, they change color with your theme.

    How it works
  46. An online store with a real cart

Add your products in Lists › Products and show them with a Products section. Customers fill a cart and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, straight into your own Stripe account, with pickup, shipping and sales tax worked out for you. It’s the Online store add-on: $10 a month, and we never take a cut of your sales.

    How it works
  47. Show up in AI answers

More people now ask ChatGPT or Google’s AI answers for a recommendation. Each page has a new AI answers checklist next to its search checklist, and Search & sharing has one for your whole business, so you can see what helps these tools understand and recommend you.

    How it works
  48. A video behind your headline

The Hero section has a new layout, Text over video: a short, silent video plays behind your headline. Upload your own (we make it small for you) or pick a free one.

    How it works
  49. Text size and heading styles

Make all the words on your site a little larger or smaller under Theme › Text size. Each section with a heading can also make it larger or smaller, or show it in your brand or accent color.

    How it works
  50. Free photos to choose from

Don’t have the right photo? In the Choose a photo window, open Free photos and search thousands of professional photos from Pexels. They’re free to use on your site, and it’s included in your plan.

    How it works
  51. Fill in a menu from a photo or PDF

On a Price list / menu section, choose a photo or PDF of your printed menu or price list and AI copies the groups, items and prices in. You check them before anything goes on your site. It’s included in your plan.

    How it works
  52. More designs to try on

Twenty new designs, from Linen to Harvest, and new ways to lay out the header. Try any of them on your own site in the preview: nothing changes until you choose one.

    How it works
  53. Have us do it

When an AI change can’t make what you asked for, have a person do it instead. You get a price first, see the result before it goes on your site, and pay once it’s there.

    How it works
  54. A photo slideshow in the opening banner

Pick the Photo slideshow layout in your Hero section to show your words over three or four photos that change by themselves.

    How it works
  55. Sections that move

Bring cards in one by one as visitors scroll, count up numbers in Highlights, and open gallery photos full screen. Visitors who turn off motion see everything at once.

    How it works
  56. TikTok, X, Threads and Bluesky links

Add them with your other social links in Business info. They show in your site’s footer.

    How it works
  57. Ask for an AI change from the page you’re editing

Click Ask AI to change this on any page or section, and add up to four pictures: a layout you like, or your own photos to put on your site.

    How it works
