Add music and a voiceover

Choose a track for a video, see how it fits, and add a voiceover read aloud from your words.

Background music

  1. In a video design, open Music.
  2. Search by title, mood, genre or tag, or choose a mood. Turn on Only tracks that fit this video to see those that suit its length.
  3. Preview a track, then click Use. To change your mind, click Switch.

Studio fits the track to your video for you. A track a little longer or shorter is sped up or slowed down to end with the video (the pitch stays the same). A longer one is cut with a fade at the end. A shorter one repeats, blended where it comes around.

On the timeline

Each sound has a row at the bottom of the timeline, drawn with how loud it is. Drag it to move it, drag its ends to trim it, and press Delete to remove it.

A voiceover

A voiceover reads a script aloud, or writes down a recording of your voice.

  1. Open the AI panel with a blank video design.
  2. Find the voiceover choice, and type your script or add a recording.
  3. Check the words, and fix any that came out wrong.
  4. The video becomes as long as the voiceover, and the sound is added to it.

Voiceovers are paid from credits, and the price is shown before you start. What things cost.

Hearing it

Press play on the timeline to hear your music and voiceover with the video. The MP4 you download has them mixed in.

Still stuck?

Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
