Colors and fonts

Keep a design in one set of colors, change them all at once, and pick fonts.

Design colors

Every design has a set of design colors. When you color a word or a shape with a design color, it follows the set: change the set, and everything using it changes with it.

  1. Open the Page panel.
  2. Under Design colors, choose a different set, or change a single color.

If you started from your dashboard, Studio starts with your Brand Kit's colors. Colors you pick that aren't from the set (a custom color) stay as they are.

Color one thing

Select it and use Fill for a shape or Text color for words. Pick one of the design colors, or Custom to choose any color or type a hex code.

Keep words readable

Light words on a light background, or dark on dark, are hard to read. Check your design at a glance, or at arm's length. For words over a photo, put a shape behind them and turn its Opacity down.

Fonts

  1. Select the words.
  2. Open the Font box in the bar above the page. Type to Search fonts, then click one.
  3. Use the size, Bold, Italic, Capitals, Letter spacing and Line spacing controls next to it.

Two fonts per design look best: one for headings and one for the rest.

Still stuck?

Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
