Connect your calendar to bookings

Block out busy times from your Google, Outlook or iCloud calendar, and see your bookings in it, without signing in to Google.

Block out your busy times

  1. Copy your calendar's private address:
    • Google: Settings › your calendar › Integrate calendar › Secret address in iCal format.
    • Outlook: Settings › Calendar › Shared calendars › Publish a calendar, then copy the ICS link.
    • iCloud: share the calendar as a Public Calendar and copy its address.
  2. On the Bookings screen, under Your calendar, paste it next to the business or the person, and click Save.

The row then says Connected. Busy times can't be booked, and your calendar is read again every few minutes. Events marked Free don't count. Keep the address private: we store it on our servers only, never on your site. To stop, click Remove on the row.

If people on your team take bookings, each has a row of their own, under The business (everyone).

See bookings in your calendar

Every booking email has an Add to your calendar link. To see them all:

  1. On the Bookings screen, under Your calendar, click Copy next to your bookings feed address. It shows once the add-on is on.
  2. In your calendar app, subscribe to that address (in Google Calendar: + next to Other calendars › From URL).

Calendar apps refresh feeds every few hours.

"We couldn't read that calendar" usually means a sharing link was copied instead of the iCal address, which ends in .ics.

Still stuck?

Try it on the live demo first; nothing you do there is saved. If you’d rather have a person do it, ask for a work request from your dashboard. You’ll get a quote before any work starts.
